Round Ligament pain?

Today I've been hurting all day.... The pain starts by the pubic bone dead in the middle like a bad period cramp but it has a stinging feeling to it. I also have lower back ache with it. I'm 26 weeks pregnant, Is it round ligament pain? Should I be worried?

I have similar pain. As the day goes on my pelvis gets more and more pressure that is most prominent on the left front side of pelvis but I can feel the pain all across my pelvis. Each step I take creates more pressure, but sitting too long also creates more pressure. I talked to my doctor and she didn't have an exact answer to it, but she said it's either round ligament pain or the hormones causing my pelvis to relax which creates the pain. Either way she said it's normal. I'm just trying to tough it out.

I only 13 weeks pregnant but I think I've been feeling something similar the last few days - lots of pelvic pressure in the middle of my low pelvic area - it's sort of a burning sensation and it just feels very heavy down there. Does that sound what you're having?  I called my doctors office today and they didn't seem too concerned and just told them to call back if things got worse or I started bleeding. It still worries me but I'm hoping it goes away soon!

Personally i think you are fine. I'm pregnant with my 4th and i have had a similar pain with 2nd 3rd and now this 1. Its pretty much just your body stretching allowing room for baby. If the pain is constant and becomes severe (especially if you start bleeding) then id go to the hosp. If you are concerned in any way then it wouldnt hurt to get checked now also. Im just speaking from experience, if the pain comes and goes and it doesnt keep you from doing day to day things, then you are ok!

Did you even figure out what the pain was? I am almost 23 weeks and now having the same thing. It started a few days ago on the sides but is now in the middle the last two days, and also feels like stretching and also sharp depending on time of day. Also gets worse if I sit for too long or stand for too long.

Round ligament pain is in the sides, like by your hips, I don't think it's a normal pain to be feeling it in the middle, you might want to get that checked
