too early??

so my baby is 9 weeks old ....bf has said about another one already....i do want another one but i keep telling him when baby a year old at least but the more i think about it and keep saying a year old at least the more i actually DONT want to wait until baby a year old ...ive not even had my first real period yet but just started contraceptives so maybe that could bring them on soon ....do you think its a bit early to be trying for another before this baby year old ...also leave me your stories if you had 2 babies close together aka started trying before one was year old (was it easy or hard) ....im confused if its the fact that i really do want to try for another now or im very maternal and thats the more want if that makes sense....let me say again i do want another one ....
