Any ladies with a late AF and BFN's???

Anyone else in the same boat??? AF is 5 days late. I looked back at a pregnancy test that I took 5 hours ago and that was a VVVVFL. Could it still be possible?????

Also to answer your question, I read an article that a clinician wrote (don't have the link or I would attach it) about evap lines and positives after a couple of hours. He said that with the tests that have caps, you really can't get an evap line because it takes days for the test to dry out since they're closed up. Also, with the positives that show up after an hour or more, for the dye to actually turn a color- making the test positive no matter how long it takes- there has to be HCG present in the test, sometimes it just takes a while for it to filter through to turn the test positive. If it happens to be an evap line, then there will be no color (pink or blue) because there is no HCG present. But if it turns, then there is HCG present in your urine, possibly just a small amount not able to be detected soon enough. Obviously, I know people DO get false positives when they aren't actually pregnant but what he wrote does give me a little peace of mind as to why I'm getting so many positives after the time frame. Yes!! I'm around a week or so late. I've had BFN then an hour or two later they've been positive. I believe I got a vvvfl this morning, but this afternoon I took two more that looked negative, so I'm retesting tomorrow morning and calling my obgyn to see if I can get some blood work done. It's very confusing and frustrating! Lol

I'm in the same boat, I'm already 9 days past my period, and I have taken 4 tests, all negative!!! 😡😡😡
