Spotting and cramping, anyone have this?

I called the OBGYN triage nurse to let her know that I have had on and off pink spotting the past couple weeks. I couple times I wiped and there was a tiny bit of bright red blood. Nothing to soak a pad or underwear. It's more of a pinkish discharge when I wipe or when I press tissue paper against my vagina. She asked me if I had cramping and I said I have some period like cramping but that's normal. She said at 33-34 weeks it is not normal. So I'm going in to be evaluated at 8am tomorrow. Has anyone had this? What was the outcome? I assume it could just be an infection? Curious if anyone experienced something similar.
