Is it ok to have a baby when you don't have your whole life together?

My husband and I have been married for a year now.  We both really want kids.  It's been something we've been talking and planning about even when we were dating.  We both have full-time jobs, and have some money in savings.  He is going to school part-time in the fall, and I will continue to go to school full-time while I am working.  By this spring, I will have finished my Junior year.  My question is...is it too soon to consider having a baby?  We currently live in a one bedroom apartment, but are planning to look into other housing options in the Spring.  We want our kids to have the best possible start to life, but know happy families who started out with less than we have.  Any advice?

It's never the right time to have kids..lol..but you make it happen...and when it does it's amazing just be prepared for your whole world to change. It's no longer about you and him..its all about the baby. So go on vacation..do all the things you want to do now before the baby cause once it's here its soo hard to leave them...well that's how I feel..I feel guilty to go out without him..he is 7 months old. And good luck!!

I don't think anyone is ever fully ready to have kids lol but If you think your ready and its something yall want then go for it. Just know they are so much work but the joy they bring to your life is sooo worth it 😁

If you had a child, you'd make it work whatever the circumstance.
But it's easier to enjoy when you have more time and are a bit better set up.

When we got married we had no savings, I was working part time and he was working full time at a job that didn't pay enough. I got pregnant 8 wks after our wedding. It's been tight. But we made it work. I'm pregnant with #2 now (my first is 14 mos old). I don't work I stay at home. He does work, makes a bit better money. And we are still making t work. Life happens - and if you don't do what you want. Like have kids. It may never happen. Cause if you wait til the "right time" it will never come.
