10 dpo...am i just looking for sign?

I had some light spotting today. My period isn't due for another 2 weeks...I ovulated very early this month, as in 3 days after my last period. I'm tired, my head feels warm, I've had slight cramping a few days ago...I want to be positive and hope but this is my 11th month of trying and I don't want to get my hopes up :( I did take a test yesterday at 9 dpo but got just a solid negative. I know it's early but I'm just so sick of waiting!
