Mucous Poops

Sorry this is gross and probably tmi....

I'm about 11 weeks along and for the past 3 weeks I've had super weird poops. Sometimes soft, sometimes regular but ALWAYS with mucous coming out at some point.

I'll feel like I have to go and so I'll sit on the toilet and nothing comes out except for mucous. I talked to my doctor about it and she thought it was strange. Thought maybe because I had a recent trip to Cuba (about 6 weeks ago now) and suggested that I take a probiotic.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's freaking me out.
