When did you tell your family?

When you first found out you were pregnant. When did you tell your immediate family?? Mom, dad, sisters, brothers?? We just found out yesterday that we are expecting our first baby!! ❤️❤️

Told my siblings and parents around 6 weeks and everyone else at 12 weeks. It's really your preference though!

Got my bfp almost two weeks ago, called my husband immediately. We told my sister last weekend since we live states away from the family but she was here visiting and would have known anyway if I wasn't drinking. I don't want to tell anyone or even talk about it until I go to the Dr. and at least hear the heartbeat. My appt isn't until next week (I'm estimating I'm around 7-8wks rn). Assuming all is well, we're going to try and wait a month before telling our parents so we can tell them in person.... we'll see!

I told my parents right away, and told my husband's dad and grandparents about 3weeks later and then 5weeks later we told his aunt and uncle. After our 10week 4day apt, we went out to his mom's grave and told her that we wishes she was her to hold her grandchild but we know she's looking over and keep this baby safe. I can't keep a secret so it had to be told early no matter what happened so we had support if anything did. It's all up to how you feel if you want to keep it a secret or just tell them know.
