Advice please ...

So my son is 4 months old, I went to see my OB and apparently my ovaries are in really bad shape because of cysts I've had all my life. The right one has stopped working and the left has numerous cysts. My OB said that they don't need to go in and laser them out again.. my best option would be to remove both ovaries in the next year or so.

So the plans of a big family are out the window, my SO wants us to try for another one before this happens and I just need advice from moms who've had theirs little ones close together.
