Being induced?

Question

I'm at FTM and I'm currently 40 weeks the doctor told me if I haven't went into labor naturally by next Tuesday I would be induced. I'm just curious to others who have been induced and was wondering what was your experiences and did it hurt. I know labor isn't a painless thing but I've been told it's painful because it makes the labor come so quickly. Thanks to everyone who comments!

My induction was horrible and I will always recommend to anyone who doesn't NEED (for actual medical reasons, not just because your doctor is bored of your pregnancy) to be induced should absolutely not do it. Do some research about the negative side of induction and remember that your doctor can't just tell you that they're going to induce you whether you want it or not. If you say you don't want it, they can't force you.

I was induced and it took 24 hours three pushes and my son was born 
I had no issues at all other than feeling her put the medicine on my cervix then taking it out , it was like a little plastic thing i dilated and they popped my water.
