brown spotting....

Has anyone else had spotting about 3-5 days before their period? It lasted about 2 days and it was very light and no clots. This hasn't happened to me before, this is a first that's why I am so confused. My DH and I have been trying to conceive for over 10 months now. I keep reading online it can be implantation bleeding but I don't want to get my hopes up. Can anyone share their experience? Thanks!
