Clearblue ovulation kit sticks

I purchased the clear blue advanced ovulation kit and when I ran out of the disposable sticks, I went on to Amazon to buy more. But what I didn't realize until it got delivered was the sticks I ordered were for a different digital clearblue ovulation monitor.

They looked exactly the same so I used them with my ovulation monitor... and since then I never got a "peak" display(solid smiley face).... only several days of "surge" displays (blinking smiley face).

I can't imagine I am not ovulating anymore... does anyone think that maybe using these wrong sticks are altering the digital response?
