Stitched up, but not really...

So i had a baby at the beginning of April, and I had a vaginal delivery. I tore in the process, and my doctor stitched me up.. so i thought... last night the hubby and I were having sex, and i felt a sharp sting, and i instantly felt myself bleeding down there.. i took a mirror to see what was happening, and it looked like i retore open.. so i went to the hospital, and the doctor i had last night said he didnt stitch me up properly, and he basically left the tear open, and just stitched the front of it to make it look closed. Now i need reconstructive surgery to fix it... could i sue the first doctor? I cant afford this surgery.
