... mil rant!

okay so my mil is a super nice person.... that being said. i hate her parenting style, and in turn her grandmothering skills. she wasnt a great mom for my so. he has alot of emotional/ mental issues that stems ( in my mind 100%) from the upbringing he had. she has a hot tub and wants my 7.5 month to go in it. hubby said no for all the chemicals. she has a neighbor that is 1.5 yrs . old and was so happy to say that the girl goes in the hot tub alone! *oh yeah she goes under but comes back up and we dont make a big deal....* really? no one goes in with her? what if you turn your back to do something and dont notice that shes under for longer than she should be? plus she keeps telling me to stop breastfeeding, oh i was reading 6 months is a good time to stop... like no. im not stopping now and im not pumping just to give bottles so the baby isnt on the breast! everything we say we are doing she has a smart answer for. even my hubby is getting upset. we went over there yesterday and said that we wanted to leave by 5 ( we got a lift from fil) and didnt leave till 545. we start bedtime at 630 with a bath and usually by 7 or 710 baby is asleep. ive had to work very very hard to get him sleeping in the crib so we didnt want to mess up the cycle. meanwhile it took me till 845 for him to go to sleep. we will put our feet down next.time not to leave so late, its like they dont understand my hubby was trying to explain if we get home late his sleep will be thrown off. guess what. thats what happened. uuuurg rant over.
