help please?

my older sister has a 5 month old litte girl, and she breast-feeds, and her right boob is hurting & has been all day & its causing her to have a fever, anyone know what it could be? She's tried taking tylenol, putting a heating pad on her boob like suggested but nothing's helping.

She's needs to release the milk from that breast, it'll be uncomfortable but will help. A hot shower then massage the breast and pump the milk out, should unblock any clogs.
Also seeing a DR for the fever.

Mastitis like the others mentioned.. I've had it 4 times.. she will need antibiotics or she can try feeding constantly on that side until it feels better..

sounds like mastitis. if possible, she can pump and try to unclog the duct. if she's had a fever for more than 24 hours, she needs to see a doctor because that's usually a sign of  infection.
