Yeast infection - is this normal?

Hi!

I had a UTI last week and half week I started having an itch, sore labia, and white discharge. I've had a yeast infection before, and those were the same symptoms. My doctor knew I've had yeast infections before after taking antibiotics so she already gave me 1 tablet/ovule of Clotrimazole and cream in case it happened.

Last night I was already done with the antibiotics so I proceeded to insert the ovule. It started burning inside right after, and also the cream gave me a burning sensation outside. Fast forward to this morning, I wake up and there is less itch (I think, I might have gotten used to it) but my labia still hurt. I even wondered if I had inserted it in the wrong hole (I know that didn't happen, but it's the sensation I have down there).

Is this normal? When should this start getting better?
