What age would/was your child baptised?

I just had my 2 month olds christening yesterday! In Ireland it's very normal for a baby to be christened In the first 6 months. Wondering what's common in your country!

When they're old enough to decide for themselves when they want to get baptized.

I'll baptize them as an infant and then they'll do their confirmation (for non-Catholics that's when you officially confirm your faith for yourself instead of your parents making that choice through baptism) when they're ready to make that choice themselves. For me that was around 14/15, but I was baptized around 2/3 months.

I'm in a primarily Baptist part of the US. It's frowned upon to do it without the child saying they're ready. No offense to  anyone else.

I won't baptize them unless they choose to be and ask to be baptized 🤷🏼‍♀️. I'm atheist so I'll let my kids read and study religions, if they want to join one, they can go ahead! If they don't? That's fine!

I was saved at 7 and baptized at 9. I barely remember being saved and I didn't really understand at 9 what being baptized meant. I think it's best to wait until they are older so they understand more.

I think it depends on religious affiliation. I was raised catholic but decided that I didn't want my son baptized as I don't believe that has anything to do with getting into heaven or being "gods child". He can decide what he wants when he's older. With the son I'm pregnant with now, we are dealing with many health issues and he may not live long after birth. We have planned to have him baptized in the hospital.

There are so many different denominations it will depend. 
Most in the US are baptized as a young adult or adult. 
I was raised Episcopalian so we baptize as an infant then have confirmation as a young adult/adult.
