Spotting

8 days before my period was expected, I peed and wiped away light pink. It is now 3 days later and I haven't seen anymore pink or spotting. I don't typically spot before my period, if I do, it's usually the day my period is starting. The only other time I've experienced a similar "spotting" was I guess when implantation occurred with my first pregnancy. What could this be? My husband and I had sex the day before my last period (the percentage was like 2.9% chance to get pregnant) but we usually use a condom or he pulls out. I have also been sick for about two weeks so I don't know if that could cause my body to act weird. Any ideas of what might be going on with my body?
