Taking birth control early

I just took my last day of my period pill today and was wondering if it would be safe to take a non period pill earlier than the normal time I take my pills. Would taking it early stop my period that day? I take my pills at 8:45pm and want my period to be over way before that time, probably around 5:00 ish. If it's safe to take the pill early and I took the pill as soon as I got up would bang period be over by 5 ish ?
