Still waking at night-transition off bottle
Hey y'all! My little guy just turned a year last week and he still wakes up 1 time a night. He usually goes to bed around 8:30-9:30 (has been much later lately and not sure why) and the time he wakes varies usually anywhere from midnight to 4am. We have always given him a bottle and he will eat and go right back to sleep so I used to think he was waking because he truly was hungry. However now that he's getting older and the fact that the time he wakes varies, I'm starting to wonder if he is just reliant on it now. The problem is that I have about half a container of formula left which we pretty much only give him in the morning and at bedtime, he gets water or regular milk during the day, and once the formula was gone we were going to be done with it. However, if I get rid of the formula and bottles I'm not sure what will happen at night then. I did order a sound machine that will be here today that I'm hoping will maybe help keep him in a deeper sleep because he does sleep thru the night sometimes, but there's no rhyme or reason to it. Just didn't know if anyone else has run into this and had any good suggestions or recommendations.
