Will my doctor prescribe diclegis at 4 weeks?

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow for nausea that's interfering with my ability to function. I'm only 4 weeks. I'm curious if anyone else has had it prescribed this early.

I was told by my doctor that she does not like to prescribe anti naseau medication so early in pregnancy due to risk of cleft lip. However every doctor is different and every pregnancy is different so maybe they will be able to do something for you! My OB had recommended taking vitamin B6 for naseau and as I got further along we could go to diceglis (unsure of spelling) if needed. Prayers that you get some relief ❤️

Diclegis is perfectly fine to take and if your nausea is that severe, they should prescribe it.

If they don't, it's basically half a unisom tab (not the gel cap) and 25mg of B6. My dr never prescribed me anything, but encouraged me to take this instead.

Yes they will. Most people take it only during the first trimester.
