Getting tubes tied after vaginal delivery

I saw a thread on here not too long ago about getting tubes tied and it really got me thinking. I just found out that it's something that can be done after vaginal delivery. I'm wondering if anyone else is opting for this? I'll be 22 in September and this is my second baby, but I am 110% positive I don't want anymore biological children. My husband is getting a vasectomy, but I would feel more comfortable if we were both sterilized. Could I be turned away simply because of my age? I'd love any insight on this topic.
