Is it weird...?

I was on birth control for a year and decided to get off of it in December. It's now been 7 months and I haven't gotten my period until today... is that weird? My doctor told me that it would be irregular at first and that I might not get it for a month or so but it's been 7. I've had a lot of unprotected sex and sometimes they don't pull out... but I'm not pregnant. So I'm confused and don't know if I should go see my doctor or if I'm just over thinking it... Is there something wrong with me?
