So I have my twin sisters watching Sesame Street and a parody came on of orange is the new black. I'm fine with them watching it and all but I just thought it was kind of inappropriate to be adding it in Sesame Street.

I don't think kids that are Sesame Street age would get the reference anyway. It just seems like a way to promote healthy eating that makes the parents smile.

Um, no. lol. It's the only show my daughter watches and it's funny to see the little parodies they do, makes it a little less annoying to watch. They do lots of funny parodies. I've never thought any were inappropriate.

In the '80s they had a Billy Idol wannabe muppet parody of Rebel Yell "Rebel L". They do this all the time.

I don't think so. There's a ton of shit that went over my head that my parents caught on to. 
The parodies are for the parents not to get completely annoyed with children shows. Lol 
Tom and jerry are the best! U don't have to worry about it kids don't get it but u will and u can watch those cartoons all day. Lol 
My sisters go sick of watching those dumb ones on nick jr. They save that for "iPad time" with head phones lol.
