Doctors visits

Do you see your doctor every visit? I haven't seen my doctor the past 3-4 visits. I've seen her nurse practitioner only. This is a new doctor and I want to trust her but it's difficult to build trust when you don't ever see them. I liked her the first visit but lately I've had a bad feeling and have been uncomfortable. I was just wondering if this is normal. It's my third baby but my youngest is almost 13 so it's hard to recall that pregnancy.

Anyways I'm changing doctors. I found out my old OB accepts my insurance so I am going back to her. I know I can trust her and coincidentally she delivered both my finances kids. (We were best friends when he was with his ex and I actually referred them to her when they they found out about their first 7 years ago)
