Not sure if I had a miscarriage or...? Tmi picture!!

I know the title can be confusing, let me explain. Back in  2015 before I got diagnosed with PCOS or even knew what it was, I remember I had the LONGEST "period" of my life! It lasted for about 1 month & it was extremely heavy. I don't remember there being any pain just lots of blood. One day I passed the biggest clot I had ever seen come out of me in my life. I wasn't too alarmed by it because my periods were always irregular. I thought that to be one of them. Fast forward to today. I have done a lot of research as far as the reproductive system, hormones, pregnancy etc because of my pcos. Knowing what I know today I'm not 100% sure but truly believe I had a miscarriage. This has really been bothering me lately as I've been TTC with no results for a year. I'm not sure what kind of response I'd get from here so I'm going to take this picture to my doctor as well. Thanks for taking the time to read this ❤️

You would know if you had a miscarriage. The pain is horrendous. I had to be put on morphine to ease the pain.

I did not get a d&c; with my miscarriage - my body passed it naturally and it was far more than just one clot. It was like labor (I have a 5yo son), with a ton of clots (some huge, some small) and intense cramping and pain. I was 10 weeks along. I don't know if it's different if you aren't as far along but I experience blood clots with periods often and they are nothing like the miscarriage. I'd talk to your doc but, in my experience, I had a lot of pain and it was far more intense that just passing a clot during my cycle. Good luck!

This don't look like a miscarriage I also have pcos and at times we have our extremely heavy days. The look like a regular pcos blood clot period.

It would be labor pain with multiple clots like that and some tissue and a big sac with a fetus in it.

when I miscarried I didn't have horrible pain, just period like cramps. but I had clots just like yours

I had my mc at 6 weeks. I didn't have any pain or cramps but I did pass quite a few bigger clots.

That just looks like a clot to me. I don't think it's like this for every miscarriage but I went into full blown labor at almost 10 weeks. So if you're anything like me you'd definitely know

i think blood clots are common for many reasons and if you never had a positive test youl never know but i really wouldnt worry or torture yourself with the possibilty... as for showing the doctor im skeptical as i still remember my friend doing the same and hers was bigger than yours almost like a chicken fillet size... and he said youve had a miscarraige which wasnt possible as she was a virgin at the time xx
