Breast milk is best but I don't breastfeed I pump. This way everyone can help feed the baby at home. Besides do you know what's in formula?

I was super uncomfortable with the thought of breastfeeding my first. Didn't even try it once! I tried with my second with no success and by the time my third came around I was able to do so for about 4 months before drying up. This one I will try even harder with new tricks! We shall see. In the end, it's your choice. Talk to your SO and explain your reasons for wanting to do things the way you do. Communication is key in a relationship!

I'm all for breastfeeding because of the tremendous benefits for mom and baby. But I vote that you should bottle feed. In the end, FED IS BEST and YOU get the choice of what happens when it comes to your body. I feel like if you breastfeed just because everyone else wants you to, even though you don't want to, you would be at higher risk for PPD and harbor a lot of resentment toward your partner.
Just make sure that baby is fed, who cares if it's from the boob or the bottle ;)
