How many weeks?

Hey all! I'm wondering if any of you know how accurate this app is when determining your weeks? It says I'm 5 weeks today. Have any of you been told your weeks and has the doctor confirmed it for you? I'm so anxious to get to the doctor!

If you tracked your ovulation then you may be able to calculate a more accurate DD. When I first downloaded the APP it said my due date was Feb 26th being that my LMP was May 23rd. Because I know my body, I knew that date was probably incorrect because my cycle isn't a normal 28day cycle, it can sometimes go up to 37 days and I also ovulate late. So with a late ovulation date I am not as far along as this app predicted me to be, I am now 6 weeks 3 days with a possible March due date of 3/10. Doctor will confirm next Friday💕✨ So this app was off almost 3 weeks for me, which made a huge difference in the first trimester simply because the doctor wasn't able to see anything in my uterus the first time I went it, it was scary.

The app works the same as a doctor, it goes by your last period, so it's bound to be a week or 2 (even 3) out as it depends when you ovulated. originally with this app my due date was February 16th (last AF May 15th), but I ovulated late (May 29th) and I'm now 8weeks and due March 1st according to my 2nd ultrasound. all you need to do when you get your scans is adjust the dates so it follows you, but until then it's best to stick with what it says as the doctors get too confused and irritated when you mention ovulation before ultrasounds.

According to my LMP, I'm 5 weeks 2 days today. But I tracked my ovulation and I know I ovulated on either June 22nd or 23rd, so, with those days in mind I could be further along! I'll be interested to see what the doctor says today at my first appointment. Good luck to you!!
