Anyone waking up in a pool of sweat while the AC is on all night?

For the last week I've been waking up because of the heat and we leave the AC at 76F each night. I may just have to take it down to 70 when outside it doesn't get warmer than 75 during the day.

My ceiling fan is on high, and my ac is set at 68 and I'm still sweating like crazy. Probably doesn't help that my hubby keeps shutting it off at night because he's freezing 😂

Yup, we sleep with the air on 68 and I wake up drenched in sweat, which is totally unlike me. 💦😒

Yep. I opened two more AC vents today because I can't handle how hot I get at night.

Since we bought our new latex bed, I got even hotter at night. My tossing and turning was causing me sleep deprivation and disrupting my husbands sleep so he bought us a Nest thermostat. I set it for 72, and to drop down to 70 at 3:30 (for 1.5 hours) which is the hour my body tends to heat up and wake me.  It has to do with neurotransmitters, circadian rhythms and melatonin which can be thrown off by stress, cortisol. We both can sleep well  hrough the night  now.
