Am I stupid?

I'll be 20 weeks on Saturday & my cousin will be 33 weeks. She's kind of boujee and is a bit over the top lol she uses pregnancy safe everything, even sunscreen. I just use oil because I always have. But then I just read that elevated temperatures can cause birth defects. I thought she was just being extra getting all pregnancy safe products because the baby is so protected in the fluid. Does anyone else go over the top with stuff or is using the normal products you usually use okay?!
