suppository for 2 year old?

my daughter has been refusing to eat anything really but cheese it's and smoothies. she hasn't pooped in 3 days and she's in pain. gave her gas drops but nothing helped. I have toddler suppositories but I just tried it on myself first because I've never messed w them before and goodness gracious that was awful!!! is it really ok to give to a toddler??? what else could I give her? she's been drinking fruit and yogurt smoothies and eating dried cherries, I figured she'd poop by now!!! helppp

Also try these !! I found them at Walmart and my son pooped normal again ! Ever since he has been drinking these he has no problem pooping I only give him one a day with either breakfast or dinner

How is your daughter now? Mine was constipated From gold fish crackers and had a bad experience so now holds it in. She has to be on miralax and pedialax to go 🙁

Yep use them! But try to get her to drink more fluids and take flax seed oil! It's great for kids IQ and keeps them from getting constipated

Yes, at this point, she's got a poop so the suppository is probably your best option. I would definitely not use that as your go to every time though. I would cut down on the amount of cheese he's eating, and try to get him to eat more veggies and fruits. Having a three-year-old myself, I totally understand that that's not always possible. They don't like to eat veggie sometimes… I get it. I make my daughter smoothies with veggies in them and I mask it with chocolate. She never tastes a vegetable at all. But when she does get constipated, I use Pedialax saline laxative tablets.

My son had to have a suppository at 2 weeks old (done by a doctor) so as long as your following the instructions it's safe for a 2 year old.

Yes I gave my son one but it didn't really work , try to change her milk to non fat , and blend her food instead like you can boil her veggies and blend them or buy her the gerber baby foods my son was the exact same way for a bit , and I started blending his foods and gave him lots of water

Yes they are fine for toddlers you can also try prunes and prune juice also eating fiber bars will help her poop miralax helps and if its that bad then take a finger and dig the poop out
