What's after a bassinet/side crib ?

Hey ladies

This is my 5 month old princess sleeping in her Chicco lullaby crib ($100). I think she's going to grow out of it in about 2-4 months. What do you suggest I get for her next ?

I don't want a bulky crib that won't last long so is it a good idea to transition to a toddler bed, of course with all fall safety precautions, or is it just to early to do that ?

Edit: so it's pretty much a crib for 2 years then toddler bed and no in between options ?
