Possible MISCARRIAGE?!
My first transvag was 5 weeks and they saw 1 yolk sac and what looked to be a fetal pole. Went back to get another transvag a week later and I'm measuring 6 weeks. There was a large yolk sac but then a second yolk sac and NO fetal pole. The radiologist said the yolk sac was too large to be a viable pregnancy and I would miscarry. Never mentioned a second yolk sac. My OB called to talk to me about the results and said that it's a sticky situation because the ultrasound isn't really conclusive. I do have a large yolk sac (8mm) and then another yolk sac (5.5mm). The large one is likely to be abnormal chromosomes. But she said that I will get my blood checked and then from there schedule another ultrasound - either 1 to 2 weeks out. If I miscarry naturally in between that time then I do. My OB was most Concerned that They saw a fetal pole at 5 weeks but none at 6 weeks. With that said, she didn't order that ultrasound and doesn't like the way the report came out/how it was performed. The place i got my 6 week done she prefers. Has anyone had a large yolk sac before and it turn out ok? Or has anyone seen a yolk sac and then at another scan seen two yolk sacs? Do I wait until I'm 9 weeks to make a decision?
