Sciatic nerve pain + working

Just curious if sciatic nerve pain has caused anyone to stop working during pregnancy? Were you able to find anything to help it? Mine has gotten really bad this week. I'm 25 weeks and every day it seems to get a little worse. I screamed in pain as I was getting in my truck to go home yesterday and literally cried the whole way home... I'm ok to sit for about an hour, standing I'm ok with, but the process of getting to either position causes pain so bad I see spots and feel lightheaded... Normally I'm on the go, running after supplies, in and out of my truck all day. (Trucking/construction industry)... This week I have been confined to my desk because I just can't handle the constant sit/stand motion and just forget operating the heavy equipment... Last night I went to bed at 7 and got up at 5:30 this morning... It didnt hurt as bad after laying down that long, but now that I'm up and moving It's back in full force. Wondering if taking a few days off to lay around would help or maybe its just time to slow down a bit? I own my company so I can take leave whenever I need to and just do paperwork from home. I've tried Tylenol, massage and physical therapy, ice, heat, stretching, floating in the pool. The only thing that helps is laying down for extended periods of time. Any suggestions? At what point did most of you start to realize you needed to slow down, I don't feel bad other than that stupid nerve pain.
