So I am pretty sure I have a UTI, but I am in between insurance plans (new state, new job, etc.) so I don't know whether I should bite the bullet and pay out of pocket at an urgent care/ER or whether I can wait it out for a few more days until I can get my new insurance info. I may have only had it for a few days (when the burning sensation started), or I may have had it for a week already and just assumed the symptoms (cramping, spotting, weird mucus, backache) were due to being pregnant. I am six weeks pregnant if that makes a difference. How long can I wait without getting a kidney infection???
