Zika Virus

My husband's best friend is having his wedding on a cruise... well, technically the wedding is in Key West and the reception is being held on a cruise ship that is sailing to Cozumel. My husband and I booked our reservation prior to me getting pregnant. I just found out I'm pregnant last week, yay 🎉, and now I'm worried about the cruise. I'll be 8/9 weeks when I go.

I asked my ob about it and he said there wasn't Zika there and if I really want to go to just make sure I wear bug spray the whole time. I looked on the CDC website and it says there is Zika in Mexico.

Has anyone traveled there or had a conversation with their doctor about Zika? I know the effects if I do get the virus and I really don't want to put my baby in harm. But also, if my husband goes without me, gets the virus, then he can pass it on to me as well 😕 it just stinks that they really don't know enough about this disease yet to advise pregnant women!
