Prep me for talking to the doctor

So I'm such a nervous nelly and I'm a very very VERY private person and talking to people about my personal life is not something I do, so talking about my intimate relationship with my boyfriend isn't exactly a topic of conversation either. But, I want to go on the pill because I'm still young, how would I talk to a doctor about it? Because I can imagine making the appointment and blushing the whole time and I know it's nothing to be embarrassed about but i am embarrassed so if anyone's got any tips on how to talk to a doctor I'd be so thankful ❣️
