Clomid or hsg?

Question

TTC for just over a year and went to gyn this week for testing. Tests came back good (said I ovulated this cycle) but doctor said because I've only had 3 cycles since January she is open to either giving me clomid for 3 months or doing an hsg right away (she said if I start with clomid and don't have success we can try an hsg after) I know that everyone is different but I'm curious what other people would do/have done?

Do the HSG first. It will let you know if your tubes are clear or blocked. The Clomid would be useless if your tubes are blocked.

You can do clomid and HSG the same cycle, just make sure the HSG is after your period but before O, so maybe CD 5-11.

Thanks everyone! I didn't realize you could do them at the same time so I will have to check with my doctor and see if this is an option!

I had the HSG done then started clomid for 3 cycles and got pregnant, but it ended in ectopic :(
