Monster-in-Law 😖
My mother in law is driving me crazy!!! I'm 32 weeks pregnant, due 9/14/17, and we have nothing for baby because I got let go from my job as a nanny 2 months early (my boss thought she was doing me a favor by giving me more time). My mother in law keeps bragging about all the items she has bought for her house. She has a brand new pack and play, bouncer, changing station, stroller and car seat. She has new sheets and blankets and just informed me of a "wardrobe" she has started at her house for my son that will stay at her house.
She has also informed me that she will be taking him on weekend trips 3 weekends/year and said she wanted him at the end of September (he will likely be 2 weeks old). Of course I know I can say no to this, and I will since I'm strictly breastfeeding for the first 6 weeks, but she is stressing me out so much!!!
What would you do in this situation? I'm so hurt by all of it but I hate the drama she has been causing and I don't want to make it any worse.
