So I got the Kyleena IUD about a week ago. My experience so far since I've had has been ok. The insertion was painful and uncomfortable but expected. People don't really tell you that after you get the IUD you're gonna be cramping for a little bit. Whether it's a couple days or weeks, it really depends on the person. Granted, I've only had it in for 9 days, my cramps range from ok to uncomfortable and even painful. But I've been drinking a lot of hot tea and taking Aleve to ease the cramps and it helps! I've also noted that I'm still a little bloated even though my period ended last week.

Tbh my experience has been a bit uncomfortable but I know I have to be patient and that the benefits outweigh the bs that I'm dealing with now.
