The family name lives on

Being a dad is amazing, I cannot imagine how great it feels. I had a boy who is named Owen William, William named after my dad. My dad hasn't met him yet and cannot wait to see his grandson. My dad and I chatted and I recently learned that because I had a boy, my family name has now survived for 7 generations dating to my great great great grandfather back in the 18th century. I can't believe I kept the bloodline going, especially since I had doubts that I would be having a boy, but I'm glad I did and I'm glad my family name lives on.

Is there anyone who has kept their family name going?
