How to know if I am having contractions or if my water breaks ?

I am 37 weeks today and I am starting the freak out stage. It's my first baby and I really don't know how contractions or water breaking feels like.  Can anyone help ! Any experience, stories or anything lol ?

I too was worried about this. when my water broke it was a huge gush. like alot alot of water. So if yours breaks all at once. Then you will know for sure. imagine someone dropping a huge water balloon! As far as contractions, I had a lot of braxton hicks but when it was time for the real deal it was completely different. They locked my whole body up. Cant talk or move until it goes away. I never really listened to people when I was pregnant when they said "oh, you'll know" but seriously, you will! there is nothing like it! Congrats on ue baby! and good luck!

Oh, you'll definitely know when you're in labor. It's a question most ftm ask, I did, and man once the contractions go I figured it out real quick.

My water had to be broken at hospital it felt like a huge gush of water. As for contractions they feel like your entire stomach is tightening almost like a full stomach cramp... kinda. 
Trust me though you will know when either one happens don't worry(:

This is my first too, not aware of how contractions feel but your water doesn't always break. 1/4 of my moms pregnancy her water broke and she said it was like peeing slightly on yourself for hours lol.

I also wondered this with my first...trust me you will know 😂. My waters were just a trickle every now and again but my contractions were pretty intense
