Me and my boyfriend

So my boyfriend and I have been together for a year and 4 months. He is 20 and I'm 17. (He just turned 20 on June 25th and I'm turning 18 in November.)

Anyways, we have been talking about getting married recently and he even has a ring for me. (I'm not supposed to know about it but his sister and I are friends and she told me about it). Is it a bad thing that I'm really excited about it ? I'm graduating high school in December and I know we're young but I love him. I would really just like some opinions.
