Period on nexplanon

So this question is more for the ladies who have had their period past the 1 year mark on the nexplanon implant.

Dr told me by the time a year came I should more or less have a light period or it should be gone, well this December 2017, will be 2 years already and I still get heavy periods that come usually a full 7 days and I get a period 2 or 3 times a month.... soooo only a few days period free.

Question is, when did you ladies stop bleeding? Or when did it get light, if it ever did. I'm thinking about switching birth control but on the other hand I haven't gotten pregnant , or high was the main purpose of getting it.
