Oral sex?

I had never had a male's mouth on my crotch until late last year, 2016. From there I started having some pain and really nasty smell with discharge. The pain went away, the smell is still here. I talked to my mom, even a doctor. My mom bought me some yeast infection treatment which ive been scared to use. The doctor recommended probiotics. Any ideas?

all vaginas have a smell to them and discharge. However the smell shouldn't be bad, and discharge ranges from watery, stringy, creamy and even thicker, typically white to cream. it shouldn't be green or yellow or super clumpy. Those would be signs something is going on down there and you should be checked. Also, typically with yeast infections you don't get a "nasty smell." Usually those symptoms are itching, redness, inflammation, and a clumpy dryish discharge. I would say if you're concerned get checked anyways.
