Late AF

So AF was supposed to come today (given it's still early) but AF usually comes early or at the very least comes in the middle of the night. It never fails and I've had AF for like 12 years. I've felt like AF has come for the last few days. I feel crampy, irritable, oily skin, backache, my usual symptoms. Should I wait a few more days before getting my hopes up?

Update Wednesday:

Still no period. I took a test on Monday but it was negative. The test is a few months old, would that matter? It was a digital test too.
