Pills?
Okay mommas, what should I do?
I went to see my OB Friday. She was mad that my primary put me on insulin and said that he wasn't treating me appropriately for a pregnant woman. She then put me on the pills. Glyburide. Told me to take them for a week and track my sugars and do what I had been doing with the insulin. I've been on them since Friday. Before being put on them, my blood sugar was running REALLY high. She was saying that the type of insulin he put me on, wasn't keeping my blood sugar where it needed to be. Which I agree with. These pills however, since Friday, have been making my sugars fluctuate. Just yesterday, they went from 200 to 24. Within about an hour. I'm feeling like crap. My sugars are dropping randomly on me. It's getting so bad my husband is scared to leave me at home by myself.
Do you think I should call her and tell her? Or should I just wait it out until my appointment Friday?
