We are both alpha females

Me and my girl have been together a while now. I am more masculine than her and she is very feminine and sweet. Lately, she has been excelling in her passion and becoming as confident as I've ever seen her. I'm trying with my life and career but she's succeeding at everything and I'm kinda moving slower. I've been feeling inadequate but I can't tell her that. Recently, i mentioned that I would want our future kids to have my last name and she didn't agree. I want to be head of the household but I feel like she's becoming more and more dominant as time goes on. I have a big pride I guess but I don't want to be over powered. Am I wrong? How do I get over this without seeming like an asshole
