Ok so sometimes my husband like to wake me up with sex, or he's horny and can't wait. 
It's been a while, but a few nights ago I went to bed around 9. He came in the bed around 11. At about 1 am I feel him touching and squeezing my butt, then his fingers in me. The sex was good, but I was very confused at first. 
I don't mind, I told him I'm down for anytime. But I know some women don't like it. 
I've even heard some women claim it's rape- I guess because you didn't give consent. 
I'm just wondering how common this is

If my husband wanted to make love to me while I was sleeping I'd be annoyed and tell him to fuck off. Sleep is precious when you have a baby lol. Also using the term "rape" so lightly on things like your spouse wanting to make love to you while you were napping is totally down playing actual rape. (considering that your spouse is someone you have continuously made love to and you trust enough to sleep next to you every night - also that you have been on good terms with and he/she does not have malicious intent.. ) maybe I'm crazy? I don't know. I just think that it's insensitive to use that term and victimize yourself on the same level as those who have been raped when they're under the influence, when they were children, by strangers etc..

Unless prior consent is obtained then it is legally considered rape. My fiancé and I discussed this and we won't have actual intercourse unless both of us are awake and consenting. But, both of us are ok with being woken up with touching with the intent of turning the other person on. If the person doesn't wake up or wakes up and says no then we stop and that's it. In our relationship it's consensual. In another person's relationship it might not be. Everyone has their own boundaries and you need to set those in your individual relationship.

It's something that should be discussed with anyone's significant other. If you say 'yea babe, I'm ok with that!' Then knock yourself out... if you say 'no babe, I'm not ok with that' then yes... it's rape. No consent=no sex, end of conversation. Just have a quick conversation about it sometime and go from there. And let him know if your feelings ever change about it!

As a general rule I love him waking me up like this, I wish he'd do it more often because the sex is way better for me this way. But that said sometimes it can be a bit confusing. For example, three nights ago he woke me up this way while I was in the middle of a very vivid dream about bees and honey comb and for the life of me I couldn't stop think about bees during sex (in a completely non sexual way, like I was think about bees, honey comb, bee patterns, symbols etc. While I happened to be having sex). It was just really weird and funny, but most weird. So weird.

I've told him he can as I generally don't mind. But if he wakes me up when Im really tired and have to get up for work then ill usually say no and he will stop. Dont mind him trying tho, sometimes it can be hot.
