Menstrual cups and c sections PP

I just recently had a baby and am 2 month PP. well I've seen on the diva cup website that they have a specific size for c section recipients( type 2) and I actually have the type 1. I've tried putting in the type 1 but I guess I'm too tight well anyway my question is; Does type REALLY matter that much? If so why? (Other than the measurements or whatever)

Bonus question: are the meluna (I forget the name) cups really that good? Superior to diva cup?
